Pelle Cass

I’ve been a big fan of this series since I first saw Pelle’s prints it at a portfolio review several years ago. Pelle Cass’s new book gives you a chance to see a number of his wonderfully overly-populated photographs.

Pelle Cass’s photo compositions are saturated with figures, often to the point of chaos. With crowded fields, which he began in 2018, he takes the vast subject of sport and plays by his own experimental rules. Layering multiple frames rather than altering the images, Cass pushes the photographic medium to its kinetic limit while reconstructing time as we know it.
