My friend Roger Farrington asked me to help design his Danvers State Hospital Portfolio. The images are amazing and the portfolio is a real work of art. The Danvers State Hospital Portfolio consists of 15 specially selected, 11x14 inch gelatin silver prints in a custom clam-shell box, and is being released in an exclusive Limited Edition of 12 copies and 3 Artist Proofs.
In 1992, the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health gave Roger Farrington permission to produce a photographic documentation of the official closing of Danvers State Hospital, which had been closed and abandoned since 1989 and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
