Many of these images were shot while I lived in England.
As a burgeoning photographer at the time, I was always intrigued by
the potential for the implied story behind an image. To this point,
I find myself seeking the lyrical through coincidence as opposed to the literal while composing. Though photography; by definition, is an obviously visual record,
I'm keenly aware of these coincidences at the moment of exposure
through the inclusion & exclusion of subjects within my viewfinder.
I find these efforts often manifest "stories" that, more often than not,
yield emotive and meaningful images that go beyond a mere visual record
